Scope matters. Commerce is offered only as an integrated extension of Proventory Operations, not as a standalone e-commerce platform. In the current release:
- Order requests are confirmed by your staff; stock is committed at confirmation, not at checkout.
- Catalog stock and prices refresh on a published schedule rather than in real time.
- No card payments, automated tax calculation or carrier shipping rates; settlement follows your normal invoicing terms.
- One price list per catalog; customer-specific pricing is handled through quotes.
